Best Sport Couples of Cyprus in 2010 On 28th of February, the Ministry of Sports of Republic of Cyprus and National Federation of Sport Dances held a award ceremony of the best couples in the category "Sports Ballroom dances" for 2010. There were invited couches and disciples of all schools of ballroom dances. The Minister of Sports of Republic of Cyprus Philippos Sophocleos and the President of National Federation of Sports Dances Demetris Konstantinou, in their complimentary word announced that are completely pleased with the work of Cyprus couches and their alumni and claimed their hope on future dynamic development of this kind of sports. Best Sport Couples of Cyprus in 2008 and 2009 On 28th of February, the Ministry of Sports of Republic of Cyprus and National Federation of Sport Dances held a award ceremony of the best couples in the category "Sports Ballroom dances" for 2008 and 2009. There were invited couches and disciples of 6 schools of ballroom dances. The Minister of Sports of Republic of Cyprus Philippos Sophocleos and the President of National Federation of Sports Dances Demetris Konstantinou, in their complimentary word announced that are completely pleased with the work of Cyprus couches and their alumni and claimed their hope on future dynamic development of this kind of sports. . Beside that, the officials assured the members of the ceremony that the state-concerned corps will support in the future the talented dancers, will allow them to represent the country in other competitions on International level. Totally were awarded 18 prizes, from which 12 prizes took the pupils of the Sport dance school "OLGA".The rest of prizes were divided among the other schools "VATTIS", "MACHALEKIDES", "SHAKALLIS", "HALLMARK" and "SCHIMA" .
